Charlie and Kevin have worked together on many major cases.

This year, they tried a high-profile case where the Trial Court sustained defense counsel’s Motion for Judgment of Acquittal at the close of the Prosecutor’s evidence, resulting in an acquittal.

Last year, they defended and had a certification hearing in Juvenile Court in a murder case, defeating the prosecutor’s Motion to move the case to adult court where the juvenile faced long and mandatory sentences.

Charlie and Kevin handled a construction negligence case for a client and worked for a mediated settlement exceeding $1.5 million recently.

Charlie and Kevin recently tried a domestic violence case in Kansas that resulted in a Not Guilty verdict for the client.

The two enjoy teaching Criminal Trial Techniques twice annually at the UMKC School of Law with the esteemed Jim Wyrsch.
